rice vermicelli as a food could be ok ocassionally but like any starch too much will cause yeast growth.

As far as inexpensive ways to eat out, the food choices are what they are, where you purchase seems like it would be the issue.

Hi
I have been suffering from lower back pain (like lumbago) and my homepath associates this with the Candida. I have been on the Diet for one week (removed all sugars, fruits, cereals, pastas, breads etc) but am still feeling this back pain, which comes and goes. Has anyone had these symptoms and has the diet relieved the pain?

Hi
Ive been on the candida diet for exactly one week-I realized this is probably the first week in my life, since Ive been born, that no sugar has circulated in my body!
Yesterday I became really hungry and I was not at home- I ended up eating Vietnamese- a bowl of beef with rice vermicelli-I wanted to know how bad rice vermicelli is on this diet?
And can anyone help with ideas for eating out but inexpensively as I am not always at home to prepare food.
Thanks

white flour and wheat flour are both carbs and should be limited. Toasting doesn't change this. Wheat flour is a better food for people who do not have candida.

I have a question not a comment . Whit eflour and wheat flour. how do i know which is which ? I livein China and They make alot of things with flour but i am not sure what is white flour and wheat flour. It is said that white four is not good to eat, but it is also said that you can eat bread as long as it is toasted well does that mean bread made with white flour is ok as long as it is taosted? What about if the white flour has no yeast in it? Is wheat flour ok or does it have carbs also . I am really having a problem with this. Also they make thei kind of food . Not sure what flour but i tel lthe lady i can't eat it anymore because of yeast. Buit she says she puts no yeast in it. But it is friend on a burner and they put eggs in it. I have been eating this kind of latt bread tey bake it and th eflour looks white. But i tost it well after i buy it.and eat it . hsould i be eating it ? I just want to know if wheat flour is ok they also make noodles with it .

I've been on candida diet since 4/18/08, for the first four days I was very down and deprest, since anything I touched to eat, I realized that I wasn't allowed, but it got easier, I found brown rice tortilla's at Trader Joe's, instead of peanut butter, I grind my own roasted almonds in food processer, for sweet cravings I eat granny smith apples, I have done a lot of research this past 5 years, since my candida was showing in my finger nails, now I am on the candida diet for not quiet 2 full months, I feel great, but now I am sad that the summer fruits are arriving, i.e. strawberries and I can not eat them. If anyone needs suggestions, I have lots of them, let me know.
By the way for sweet craving, I use xylitol and I make brown rice cookies if anyone is interested in the recipe.
